Returns & Refund Policy

At Pink Poetry, we take pride in offering carefully curated products. Due to the nature of our items, we maintain a fair but strict returns policy in line with South African consumer regulations.

Returns Window

You may request a return within:

  • 7 days for general returns if the product is faulty or defective.

  • Personalised items will only be considered if the product is proven to be faulty and not damage caused by incorrect usage, exposure or customer neglegence.
  • There will be no refunds on any products which have been shipped.
  • Pin Poetry will make every effort to ensure the products are packaged correctly before shipping.
  • Pink Poetry will not be liable for any damage, loss or injury.
  • if the order is collected, the onus is on the customer to check that all products purchased are correct and working. 

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed

  • Must be in original packaging with tags intact

  • Must include proof of purchase (order number/email)

We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and product nature, the following cannot be returned:

  • Earrings and personal jewellery

  • Intimate wear / sleepwear

  • Beauty or self-care products

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Sale or clearance items

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Email: sales@pinkpoetry.co.za with:

    • Order number

    • Photos of item + packaging

We will:

  • Arrange courier collection, OR

  • Provide a replacement or full refund

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days

  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method

  • Banks may take an additional 2–5 working days to reflect funds

Exchanges

  1. We strongly encourage exchanges instead of refunds.

    • Exchanges are subject to stock availability

    • If unavailable, store credit will be issued

Return Shipping Guidelines

  1. We recommend using trackable couriers (e.g. The Courier Guy, PUDO, Aramex)

  2. Pink Poetry is not liable for lost return parcels

  3. Return shipping must be prepaid

Order Cancellations

  1. Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch or made

  2. Once made or shipped, the return process applies

Store Credit

Where applicable:

  • Store credit is valid for 6 months

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
